Empowering Rural Communities

Empowering Rural Youth Through Community Spaces
The „Empowering Rural Communities: Youth-Led Spaces for Transformation” (ERC) project focuses on supporting young people in rural areas by enhancing and better managing youth spaces. This initiative creates environments that promote non-formal education, social inclusion, and civic engagement. Through training and educational activities, the project strengthens the skills of young people and youth workers, enabling them to establish and run local youth spaces. A key goal is to expand youth access to meaningful initiatives and encourage their active participation in society.
Who Can Benefit?

The project targets young people (15-25 years old) from rural areas who seek personal growth and community involvement. It also supports youth workers (18-30 years old) who engage with disadvantaged youth and aim to develop expertise in managing youth spaces. Indirect beneficiaries include social organizations, educational institutions, and local authorities, which can leverage the project’s outcomes to enhance youth support systems.

What Will the Project Achieve?
The project will produce a comprehensive guidebook to help youth manage community spaces and specialized training programs for youth workers. Additionally, it will implement skill-building activities for young participants and conduct an international pilot project to test its innovative solutions. To ensure long-term impact, dissemination events will be organized in each partner country to promote and encourage the adoption of these results.
